Let’s take a look at Martyr’s Retribution, a legendary solar energy grenade launcher. Martyr’s Retribution is the first of its kind because it is a wave frame grenade launcher. The wave frame releases a wave of energy when the projectile contacts the ground, similar to a Titan’s thermite grenade. It was introduced during Season of Dawn but has now been re-introduced in Season of Arrivals with Umbral Engrams if you choose the Season of Dawn engram. This is one of my favorite weapons when clearing groups of enemies. This roll will have the weapon ready when you need it and give you your grenade back quickly. Barrel
Quick Launch provides faster projectiles and much faster aiming. This increases velocity by 9 making it a total stat 85. The handling is increased by 14 making a total of 82.
Magazine
High-Velocity Rounds. This weapon’s projectiles are particularly light and quick. It is 1 of the only 2 perks available so you will get it either way. The velocity is increased by 9, making the total 94, and reload speed is increased by 9 for a total of 76. The reload speed does not matter due to the next perk.
Perk 1
Auto-Loading Holster. Automatically reload the stowed weapon after a short period of time.
Perk 2
Demolitionist. Kills with this weapon generate grenade energy. Activating your grenade ability reloads this weapon from reserves.
Mod and Masterwork
Blast Radius masterwork for an increased area of effect. Quick Access Sling, swap weapons much faster for a short duration after emptying the magazine.
